Dexter Grist Mill

One of the oldest water mill sites existing in the United States today, Dexter’s Grist Mill, has Plymouth Colony Records dating back to 1640 in which Thomas Dexter was allocated 26 acres and 6 acres for his mill.

Sandwich was founded in 1637, and is the oldest town on Cape Cod, MA. A large part of Sandwich history is involved with American glass production. Tresurer Thomas Montique is a family relative of Colleen's. A large desk, and a few artifacts of Thomas' are on display thanks to family memeber Marie Kelleher, and the Slavin Family.
